goodbye kitty, hello

this is my first time to use 石膏 to make the

model, for me, it's a big challenge, because

I don't have any experience of making model,

and this time I have to do with the 石膏, it's

really shock me at that time.

After finishing this model, I found another

problem I need to improve, that is my painting

skill, the blood on the kitty's face is too false,

and th color is also wrong. I learned many

at this project, and I also found many things

I need to learn.

NEW DESIGN

There is an exhibition of new design

in 世貿 from 5/17-5/20. We went there

at 5/17, because is the first day of

the New Design, there is not many people.

Unfortunately, we have only a little part of


the exhibition to display our products.


Tere are too many school join the New



Design, so I can't see all the products


carefully, this is the most regrettable thing


for me. Now people's design mainly


at the appearance but not the function,


this is different with me, although the


appearance is also important, but the


most important is the product's fuction.


When we design a product, it must


be something we can improve that can


let people more easy to use, but not the


appearance isn't good.

POLY X BAUHAUS X UMBRELLA

This time our study assignments is to design


a umbrella. And we have to use poly to make


the umbrella handle.


This umbrella also have to be thestyle of


BAUHAUS. The Bauhaus Archive / Museum


of Design in Berlin is concerned with the


research and presentation of the history


and impact of the Bauhaus (1919-1933), the


most important school of architecture,


design, and art of the 20th century.


It is the most complete existing


collection focused on the history of


the school and all aspects of its


work and is accessible to all. The


collection is housed in a building


drafted by Walter Gropius,


the founder of the school.

a sad news

last week, I got the news that the dog,

阿狼, I took care before have been

taken to another place, this news

shock me, and I also feel sad, because

I spent many time to take care of it,

it's unbelievable that I can't see him

anymore.......

calling cards

these are calling cards I design,

it's use photoshop to draw,

this is the first time for me to use

photoshop, so I 'm not satisfy with

the production, I think I could

make a better one, there are still

a lot space to advance.

At this semester, our first project is papercuting.

What we have to dois to transform a 2D papercut

to a 3D product. At first, I decided tomake a

memo holder, but after discussing with

Eleanor three times,I changed my mind to

do a plank.

My topic is Chinese dragon andphoenix,

so I choosed the scale of the Chinese dragon and

thewing of the phoenix to put in my product.

A New Experience

Because of

the

association,

I made three

cards recently,

I never make

cards by myself, for me, it's a new experience. These three cards'

topic are metal, ocean and street. I like the

metal the most, but this one is

not th one I use the least time to do.

What I use the most time to do is

the street card, because the pales

are made by woodblocks, it takes

a lot of time to make woodblocks

like pales. I'm very appreciate that

the association

give me this chance

to make these cards.

It doesn't let me get

new experience but

also make me interiested in making cards.
